Around 300,000 people are still stranded as the Indian Army and Navy has been deployed on combat style mission - after special approval from commanders and home ministry - to begin massive rescue efforts in the Indian state of Bihar.
Bihar experienced dramatic flash flooding as a hydroelectric dam broke in Nepal - flooding the valleys and making rivers change course and flood the state.
